The power steel rod is made of polygonal steel pipe, round steel pipe and other steel, using hot dip galvanized or hot spray zinc (and zinc alloy) coating anticorrosion treatment. Mainly used for power line erection. It is an alternative to the traditional cement pole.
Type of power rod:
(1) Linear poles are used more in flat areas, accounting for more than 80% of the total number of poles, which are mainly used to support wires, insulators, fittings, and other weights. Can withstand sideways wind.
(2) The crossing rod refers to a straight rod with a cable. In addition to the use of the general straight rod, it can also prevent a large range of inverted rods for less important cross crossings.
(3) Light bearing rod. It is used to prevent wire breakage after insulator breakdown. It is also used for general crossing.
(4) The corner bar is used for the corner of the pole to bear the resultant force of the wires on both sides.
(5) Tensile rod General line every 1km or so to set a tensile rod. Can withstand the tension of one side of the wire, can limit the impact of short line fault range. It is used to tighten the wire when wiring.
(6) The terminal rod is a tension rod located at the beginning and end of the line.
(7) Branch rod and cross rod, for 10kV and below occasions. The lines are divided from inside to outside, the ones that branch to one side are T-shaped, and the ones that branch to both sides are cross-shaped.
